LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A former JCPS substitute teacher at Noe Middle School has filed a whistleblower lawsuit against school officials, claiming her job was threatened after she videotaped a security officer assaulting a student.

Lisa Clinton-Garces alleges in the lawsuit that a regional administrator for Jefferson County Public Schools told her "she would never work another day" in the school district "unless she deleted the video," according to the lawsuit filed Wednesday in Jefferson Circuit Court.

Clinton-Garces claims she was fired after she called Child Protective Services because she was concerned about the student.

She is suing for both actual and punitive damages.
