LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Kentucky State Police are looking for an inmate with possible Louisville ties who walked away from a halfway house in Covington.

Police say Joseph Smith left the Transitions Treatment Center on Sunday afternoon. Smith was incarcerated in connection with drug-related charges.

Authorities describe Smith as 32 years old, 5 feet 6 inches tall, with brown hair and hazel-colored eyes. He weighs 180 pounds.

Smith was last seen wearing a grey and red shirt, grey sweatpants and a black hoodie.

He has tattoos on his left arm of skulls and two guns. He also has tattoos on his right arm of a dragon and the initials "SEJ." Police say he also has "white pride" tattooed on both his right and left upper arms.

Smith's last known address was in Louisville, according to police. He also has a prior address in Grant County.

Anyone with information about Smith's whereabouts is asked to call Kentucky State Police or local police.
