LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) – A 47-year-old man was arrested on child porn charges after setting his laptops and phones on fire to try and hide the evidence, according to Kentucky State Police.

Sean Elston was suspected of distributing child pornography, based on an undercover online investigation, police say. When officers knocked on his door to search his home, police say Elston set two lap top computers and three phones on fire.

Elston is now charged with possession and distribution of child porn, tampering with physical evidence, arson and wanton endangerment.

Police say they were able to confirm the presence of child pornography files on the devices in Elston’s home.
