LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville man was arrested Wednesday evening after police say he and a juvenile hid inside an office supply store after it closed so they could steal merchandise.
According to an arrest report, police were called to the Office Depot in the 1000 block of Breckenridge Lane around 10 p.m. Wednesday after an alarm was tripped. When officers arrived, the store manager asked them to search the building with him.
That's when police say they found 18-year-old Dejuan Glover and a juvenile accomplice in the rear of the store. Police say the two tried to run out the back door but it was locked.
Police say both suspects were dressed in all black "and the juvenile had a red T-shirt covering most of his face."
According to police the suspects "had filled luggage with stolen items valued at $664.58."
Glover was arrested Wednesday evening. He pleaded not guilty to one count of burglary in court Thursday and was released on his own recognizance.
