Marion County High School band director resigns following last month's arrest
He's accused of "inappropriate activity" with a female student.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The band director at Marion County High School has resigned.
It comes after Curtis Bennett's arrest earlier this month. He's accused of "inappropriate activity" with a female student.
The district's superintendent has confirmed that Bennett resigned yesterday, but has not worked at the school since his arrest.
He's facing charges of video voyeurism and unlawful transaction with a minor.
According to his Facebook page, Bennett had been the band director at the school since 2011.
