LOUISVILLE, Ky (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police arrested a man and woman officials say robbed a pizza delivery driver at gunpoint.

Christopher Smith, 18, and Tonisha Eddins, 19, were arrested Sunday morning in the 400 block of North 29th Street, near Slevin Street.

The official police report states the pair robbed a pizza delivery driver on Saturday evening just before 7 p.m.

Police say the robbery happened in the 200 block of East Burnett Avenue, near South Brook Street.

Authorities say the pair approached the victim and "ordered him into the alley at gunpoint." Investigators say the Smith and Eddins robbed the victim of cash and a pizza.

The two then fled west on Burnett Avenue, according to police.

Police say Smith and Eddins each admitted to the robbery in recorded statements.

Smith and Eddins are charged with robbery.

They are being held at Louisville Metro Corrections. Each has a $20,000 cash bond.

Both were scheduled to appear in court on Monday.
