LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A couple who met on Instagram got married only minutes after meeting in person.

"You don't drag your feet with real love. You lead into that like there's no tomorrow, and that's what we're doing," Erica Harris said, shortly before meeting her husband-to-be, Artie Vann.

Harris and Vann met one year ago on the photo sharing site. He lived in New York; she lived in California.

The pair said their love grew through original poetry and videos they shared. Then, one day, Vann bought a one-way plane ticket and the two planned to elope minutes after he landed.

That's just what happened on June 21, Vann popped the question moments after seeing his on-line love for the first time. And, now, the happy newlyweds have advice for others who are looking for their own version of this modern love story.

"Don't listen to your thoughts, don't listen to your head, follow your heart, follow your soul," Vann said.

"So for anybody who doesn't believe in fairy tales anymore, who am I, and it can happen to you too," Harris added.
