POLICE: Louisville man charged with more than 20 counts related to child sexual exploitation
Investigators say while officers were on scene, 20 files of child pornography were found on the suspect's electronic devices.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Kentucky State Police have arrested a Louisville man and charged him with more than 20 counts related to child sexual exploitation.
Shawn Jaggers, 24, was arrested Monday evening at his home on Lucille Avenue, near Greenwood Road and Dixie Highway, according to the police report.
Police say during an undercover investigation, Jaggers distributed three files of child sexual exploitation to Kentucky State Police.
Investigators say while officers were on scene, 20 files of child pornography were found on Jaggers' electronic devices.
Authorities say Jaggers stated during an interview, "he intentionally and knowingly searched, downloaded, viewed, distributed and possessed" files of child pornography.
Jaggers is charged with 20 counts of possession/viewing matter portraying sexual performance by a minor. He's also charged with three counts of distributing matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor.
Jaggers is being held in Louisville Metro Corrections on a $50,000 cash bond.
