LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Today is national signing day for high school football players across the country.

It's the first day a senior can sign a binding letter of intent to play football at a certain college.

The University of Louisville has 23 commitments. The Cards signed Derek Dorsey from Manual High School, and Keion Wakefield from Male High School has also committed.

The University of Kentucky has already signed 24 players. UK's coaches are hoping to land five-star offensive lineman Jedrick Willis from Lafayette High School in Lexington.

Many players wait until today to make a decision.
