SCOTT COUNTY, Ind. (WDRB) -- Authorities say Scott county's biggest drug dealer is off the streets.

Wdrb's Danielle Lama was there as his home was raided and he was taken into custody.

Officials set up a command post in Scottsburg this morning for the investigation. Several agencies were involved, including members of the Scott County Sheriffs Department, Indiana State Police, Drug Enforcement Administration and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

They started working before the sun came up. Sheriff Dan McClain says the main target was Bennito Rodriguez.

We were there as Rodriguez was taken out of his Scottsburg home in handcuffs.

McClain says he is the county's biggest drug dealer, selling drugs like Opana, heroin and methamphetamine.

A woman, Brooklynn Mack, was also arrested at the West Owen Street home.

Investigators also searched a nearby business, which we're told is connected to Rodriguez.

Officials tell us they made several other arrests this morning in the county.

We're expecting to learn more details at a press conference at 1 p.m. today and we'll have the latest on WDRB News at 4.
