LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Authorities have released the name of a woman who was killed in a crash in southwestern Jefferson County.

Laura Craven, 47, was pronounced dead at the scene from multiple blunt force injuries, according to Deputy Coroner Eddie Robinson.

The crash happened Friday just before 6:30 p.m. in the 13000 block of Dixie Highway, just south of Blevins Gap Road, according to officials.

Authorities say Craven was driving a Toyota van north on Dixie Highway, when her vehicle was hit by a pickup truck that was heading south. Robinson says the truck crossed the median into the path of the Toyota van.

LMPD spokesperson Dwight Mitchell says three others were transported to area hospitals, including one 15-year-old girl. All reportedly have non-life threatening injuries.
