LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A lifesaving drug will soon be available -- without a prescription -- in Indiana and Kentucky.

Walgreens will begin selling Naloxone at pharmacies in 35 states and Washington, D.C.

The program will roll out state-by-state this year.

Officials say Indiana will be among the first to get the medication -- by the end of the month.

Naloxone can prevent an overdose by reversing the effects of heroin or other opioid drugs.
