LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Kentucky State Police have released the name of the woman who died in a crash in Hardin County.

According to a KSP news release, 74-year-old Louise Cundiff, of Cecelia, Kentucky, was killed in the crash on Friday afternoon.

Around 2:30 p.m., the two-car accident happened at the intersection of Deckard School Road and Patriot Parkway between Elizabethtown and Vine Grove.

Police say Cundiff was a passenger in a 1986 Ford Crown Victoria, which was headed north on Patriot Parkway.

Investigators say another motorist was in a 2006 Toyota Camry and was at a stop sign at the intersection of Deckard School Road and Patriot Parkway.

State Police say for an unknown reason, the driver of the Toyota pulled into the northbound side of Patriot Parkway, into the path of the Crown Victoria. The driver of the Crown Victoria then hit the front right corner of the Toyota.

Cundiff was pronounced dead at the scene by the Hardin County Coroner, according to police. The driver of the Crown Victoria was airlifted to U of L Hospital to be treated for serious, but non-life threatening injuries. Police say the driver of the Toyota suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene and released.

Officials say alcohol is not believed to have been a factor in the crash. Authorities are continuing to investigate the crash.
