LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Oldham County Police say they've arrested a Waddy, Kentucky, man after he held a woman against her will and raped her.

According to arrest reports obtained by WDRB News, the incident took place shortly after 1 a.m. Saturday at a home on Georgie Way, near E. Moody Lane, in Crestwood.

Police say they were called to the home on a report of a man who was "out of control."

According to the arrest report, the victim -- a woman -- told officers that her boyfriend and 22-year-old Joshua Logan had been drinking, when Logan became disorderly and refused to leave. This allegedly made the woman "scared and uncomfortable," so her boyfriend decided to call the police, according to the arrest report.

That's when, police say, Logan locked the woman's boyfriend out of the home, took the woman to the bedroom against her will, and raped her.

When officers arrived, Logan was "irate" and slammed the door in their faces, according to the arrest report. While there, officers allegedly saw him assault the woman, who was trying to leave, and was "obviously in distress and danger."

Police say they eventually entered the home by force and found Logan in a closet, where they arrested him -- but not without a fight. Police say he was "very combative and uncooperative" and at one point, after he had already been handcuffed, Logan ran out the door of the house and had to be chased on foot before he was again apprehended.

An officer was injured during the pursuit.

Logan was eventually taken into custody and charged with first degree rape, fourth degree assault, third degree assault, first degree unlawful imprisonment, resisting arrest, criminal mischief and escape.

He is currently being held in the Oldham County Detention Center.
