LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police say they've arrested a teenager for robbing a young victim of his $140 "Jordan" shoes.

According to an arrest report, it happened near Valley High School, near the intersection of Dixie Highway and Valley Station Road, just after 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday.

Police say 18-year-old Benjamin Ralston and a juvenile accomplice saw the victim, took him to the ground, held him down and took his shoes, before running back to Valley High School.

The "Jordan" shoes were worth $140, according to the arrest report.

The victim was able to identify both Ralston and his accomplice, and both men allegedly admitted to taking the shoes and hiding them in a classroom.

Ralston was arrested and charged with second degree robbery.

The shoes were returned to the victim's parents.
