LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Indiana used a 17-4 burst to close the half and then another 13-2 push to start the second half and put away Nebraska 80-64. The win gave IU (21-6, 11-3) a share of first place in the Big Ten again, thanks to Iowa's loss at Penn State. Nebraska (14-13, 6-8) has lost five of seven.
Troy Williams bounced back from a scoreless game in Sunday's loss at Michigan State. The Junior was at his driving, acrobatic best and hit 8-of-9 shots for 18 points. Robert Johnson had 13 points, Yogi Ferrell 11 and Freshman Juwan Morgan came through with 12 points and 5 rebounds off the bench. The Hoosiers shot 53 percent for the game, made 9-of-21 threes and outscored the Huskers 17-6 from the free throw line.
IU is now 15-0 at home this season. They host Purdue Saturday.
