LOUISVILLE, Ky (WDRB) -- An aspiring rapper has been arrested for the second time in less than a week.

The Bullitt County Drug Task Force arrested Jamel Bishop around 11:30 Thursday night at the River Park Place apartment complex off of River Road. He's now charged with trafficking marijuana and being a persistent felony offender.

Last week, Bishop, a Hillview resident, was found with eight pounds of high-grade marijuana, $30,000 in cash, a Rolex and $50,000 worth of gold jewelry. The Task Force also seized three vehicles.

He was released from jail about a week ago on a $1,000 cash bond.

A friend of Bishop tells WDRB, that Bishop was just indicted by a federal grand jury.

The Sheriff's Office says Bishop's is part of a multi-state case involving the distribution of marijuana.
