LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) – Members of the Kentucky Colonels and the old Indiana Pacers of the ABA met for a reunion Friday in Louisville.

Dan Issel, Louie Dampier, and Joe Hamilton were among a dozen players from both teams who came out to Brownsboro Hills Health Care & Rehabilitation Center to pay a visit to former U of L and Kentucky Colonels star Ron Thomas.

The event was organized by the Dropping Dimes Foundation, a non-profit corporation that helps former ABA players. Today, the group donated shoes, socks, and other gifts to Thomas who had a stroke several years ago.

The group is planning with the ABA for a much larger reunion for the entire league in the fall of 2017.
