LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A female escapee from the Western Kentucky Correctional Complex may be on the loose in Hardin County.

The Hardin County Sheriff's Office says Lostia Shreves were staying in a vacant home in the Flint Hill neighborhood. A deputy located a stolen truck and arrested her male companion, 40-year-old Randy Harrington of Elizabethtown. He's charged with receiving stolen property.

Police say Shreves then fled the home and has yet to be found.

Shreves is from Cecilia, Ky., and was last seen at the correctional complex on Feb 17 when she was missing after a head count.

Police are telling Hardin County residents to lock your vehicles and homes, use caution when answering the door and dial 911 to report any suspicious activity.
