LMPD searching for suspects in 2 pizza delivery driver robberies

Posted: Updated:

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Two pizza delivery drivers were robbed at gunpoint on the same street and police are asking for help finding who's responsible.

The robberies happened in September and November in a neighborhood off Fegenbush Lane in the southeastern part of Jefferson County.

Police say the same Overton Road address was given in both cases and it led to a vacant home.

When the delivery drivers arrived, they were held up.

Detectives say they have reason to believe at least one person involved lives in the area of the robberies. They also have a person of interest who's a minor.

"We have a young man out here using a gun to rob pizza delivery people who are out trying to make a living, so we need to get him off the streets," LMPD Det. Rodney Underwood said.

Police are asking anyone with information about the robberies to call their tipline at 574-LMPD.
