NEW ALBANY, Ind. (WDRB) -- A New Albany staple known for its homemade ice cream is closing.
Mom and Pop's Cone Corner is closing after more than 30 years.
The owners posted a message on their Facebook page saying, with young children and full time careers, they don't have the time necessary to run a successful business.
The shop's previous owner, Bob Hornung, shut down in September and didn’t know if it would stay in business.
Then his niece and nephew bought it -- reopening several months later.
They want to thank all their loyal customers.
