LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville man is facing multiple criminal charges related to the possession and distribution of child pornography.

According to an arrest report, the arrest came as a result of an undercover investigation by the Kentucky State Police.

Police say an Internet account linked to an apartment on Country Acres, near the intersection of Breckenridge Lane and Bardstown Road, was sharing files "indicative of child sexual exploitation."

The resident of that apartment was 76-year-old John W. Johnson, according to the report.

Police say they executed a search warrant at that apartment Thursday evening and found 15 computer files related to child pornography.

Johnson was arrested and charged with 15 counts of possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor and one count of distribution of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor.

He is currently being held in Louisville Metro Corrections.
