LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- It was a celebration of all things bourbon.

The Bourbon Classic on Saturday focused on what the co-owners call the bourbon arts."

The event at the Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts showcased the different ways to cook, mix drinks and distill Kentucky's famous liquor.

Guests could also taste test different varieties.

Event organizers say they also had local culinary artists and even some from New Orleans showing off their skills.

"It's just great food, a lot of great distillers, a lot of master distillers among the crowd just walking around," co-owner Justin Thompson said. "Whether you're a novice to bourbon, or you've been a big bourbon fan for decades ... there's something for you here."

The Bourbon Classic has been going on now for four years.
