Louisville native Jennifer Lawrence nominated as Best Actress at Sunday's Oscars

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville native Jennifer Lawrence could win her second Academy Award on Sunday night.

She's nominated as Best Actress for her work in the film "Joy."

At age 25, she's the youngest actress ever to receive four nominations. She won the Best Actress Oscar in 2013 for "Silver Linings Playbook."

Lawrence received Oscar nominations for her performances in "Winter's Bone" and "American Hustle."

"The Revenant," starring Leonardo DiCaprio, is nominated for 12 awards and is the year's most nominated film.

Other films up for Best Picture include "The Big Short," "Bridge of Spies," "Mad Max: Fury Road," "The Martian" and "Spotlight."
