LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police say they've arrested a teen at Eastern High School for assaulting three school employees after they asked him to put away his phone.

According to an arrest report, it happened Tuesday morning at Eastern High School, on Old Shelbyville Road at the intersection with Juneau Drive.

Police say 19-year-old Marcus W. Knight was at the school at 10 a.m. today, when teachers asked him several times to put away his phone and stop recording inside the school.

According to the arrest report, one of the school officials then took him by his arm in order to pull him into the office.

Police say Knight responded by pulling away from him and punching him in the stomach.

Two other school officials tried to get Knight under control, according to the arrest report. Police say one sustained an injury to her knee and the other was bitten by Knight.

Knight was arrested by Louisville Metro Police a short time later. He is charged with three counts of third degree assault of a school employee or school volunteer.
