LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Lawyers are teaming up to fight hunger in both Kentucky and Indiana, competing in a friendly food drive for the eighth straight year.

Food from the March Against Hunger competition will go to Dare to Care Food Bank, which serves 13 counties across Kentuckiana.

Leaders say there are 193,000 people at risk of hunger in Kentucky and Indiana.

"That includes seniors who are deciding whether they are going to fill their prescriptions today or buy groceries," said Brian Riendeau, the executive director of Dare to Care.
"It includes single moms are struggling with the decision, do they pay the rent or do they buy groceries for the weekend? These are real decisions being made every day by real people."
The winner in the March Against Hunger gets the Attorney General's Cup.
