LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Having already clinched an outright Big Ten Championship, Indiana was searching for some icing on the cake Sunday at home against Maryland ... and maybe some NCAA Tournament resume material.

Five seniors were honored at Assembly Hall, including star point guard Yogi Ferrell, who would the home crowd one more time in a 80-62 victory over Maryland.

IU didn't get off to a great start, but a 9-0 run to end the first half, punctuated by a last-second three-pointer by junior forward Troy Williams, gave the Hoosiers a nine-point halftime lead.

The lead fluctuated between 10 and 15 points for the rest of the game, with the Terrapins never really getting close enough to scare Hoosiers fans.

In the last game of a historic career inside Assembly Hall, Ferrell filled up the stat sheet, finishing with 17 points, four rebounds and four assists.

Williams added 23 points and five rebounds for IU, which will be the No. 1 seed in next wee's Big Ten Tournament in Indianapolis.
