LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A teenager pleaded not guilty to killing his soon-to-be father-in-law Monday morning.

Police say 19-year-old Devontez Grinter shot and killed Kevin Deramus last October. He turned himself in on Friday, four months after the murder.

Officers say Grinter was living with Deramus on Lynnview Drive off Crums Lane, and was his soon-to-be son-in-law at the time of the shooting.

There's no word on the motive behind the crime.

Grinter's bond is set at $50,000 cash.
