LOUISVILLE Ky. (WDRB) -- Several people are homeless after a fire damaged an apartment building in Jeffersontown. 

The fire was reported around 1:45 a.m. Tuesday at an apartment building on Six Mile Lane near Green Garden Court.

The Jeffersontown Fire Department believes the fire started in a second floor unit. Four units were damaged, but no one was injured. 

The Red Cross is helping residents displaced by the fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
