LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police have arrested a Louisville man authorities say "seriously injured" a man after forcing his way inside the victim's home.

Joseph Porter, 33, was arrested Sunday, according to police records. LMPD says Porter and three co-defendants forced their way into the victim's home. The victim's mother called police and said Porter and the co-defendants entered the man's home and demanded money from the victim.

Officials say the incident occurred Jan. 26.

The victim was taken by EMS to U of L Hospital to receive treatment for "a broken orbital bone and a brain bleed."

Police spoke to one of the co-defendants during the investigation. The co-defendant gave police information that identified Porter.
