LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Shively woman is arrested after police say she stabbed two people.

Stacey Williams, 49, was arrested Monday at Seven Counties Services in the 2100 block of Crums Lane, near Dixie Highway, according to an arrest report. Officials say Williams stabbed a man and woman in the building's lobby.

Authorities say Williams "reached into her purse and took a knife out and stabbed a patient and caretaker in the lobby." Police say another person became involved and separated Williams from the two victims.

Investigators say that several witnesses stated that Williams entered the lobby and stabbed the victims and that the incident was unprovoked.

Both victims were taken by EMS to U of L Hospital to be treated for their injuries.

Williams is being held on a $50,000 cash bond. She has also been ordered to have no contact with Seven Counties Services.
