LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Kentucky State Police say two inmate who escaped from the Warren County Regional Jail have been captured.

This is according to a post placed on the Twitter account for Kentucky State Police.

Police say Bates Cole and Anthony Embry are back in police custody. Officials say the pair escaped from the jail on Monday.

A release says on Wednesday morning, police in Warren County received a call from a person who recognized Embry. Police went to the scene and located and arrested Embry. He was taken to the Warren County Regional Jail.

The Warren County Sheriff's Department says Embry had a firearm and machete in his possession at the time he was arrested. Further charges are expected to be filed against him.

Police say Cole was previously located and taken into custody on Monday night.
