LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Usually you have to pay to see a doctor.
But that's not the case with an education program through KentuckyOne Health.
"Walk with a Doc" invited community members to ask questions about their health Saturday in a casual atmosphere, while getting exercise at the same time.
It was KentuckyOne's inaugural walk at Medical Center Jewish Northeast.
Participants walked with an oncologist and had the chance to discuss cancer care.
"It sometimes is not easy to make sense of it all, but if they can come and bring their questions in a casual environment on a one-on-one with a physician who can maybe help them make sense of the information and some of the questions they have, I think that's really the value of this," Dr. Vivek Sharma said.
These events are held every month with a different physician and health topic. For more information on the next locations, click here.
