LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The University of Kentucky men's basketball team will ride its wave of momentum into the NCAA Tournament.

The Wildcats overcame a four-point halftime deficit to beat Texas A&M, 82-77, Sunday to win the SEC Championship, the program's 29th conference tournament title.

With the game tied with a minute left in overtime, junior Derek Willis and sophomore Jamal Murray hit 3-pointers on back-to-back possessions to seal it.

Sophomore guard Tyler Ulis led UK with a career-high 32 points. He as named tournament MVP.

The team will now await its fate in the big dance. The NCAA Tournament Selection Show begins at 5:30 p.m.
