LAGRANGE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Investigators have released the calls made for help Thursday after two kidnapping incidents in Oldham County.

Around 11:56 p.m. that night, LaGrange Police say a man got into a young woman’s car at Walmart and forced her, at gunpoint, to drive him to a bank, withdraw $300 from her account, then had her drop him off near the Oldham County Library.

CALLER: “There’s a man that just jumped in my truck and put a gun to my head and…”

DISPATCHER: “OK, where… where are you? Where are you?”

CALLER: “I just… I just dropped him off behind Planet Fitness in LaGrange.”

The victim says she is taking shelter outside of the Oldham County Health Department, where she tells a dispatcher what happened.

DISPATCHER: “What did he say to you?”

CALLER “He said, ‘I don’t want to hurt you, but I need you to go to an ATM. That’s what we’re gonna do, and don’t try anything funny.’ And he had the gun pointed at me the whole time.”

DISPATCHER: “How much money did he make you get out?”

CALLER: “He said $400, but I told him I would give him $300.”

The victim says her kidnapper was wearing a blue bandana over his face. She says he was a “heavy set”, white man, possibly with blonde or light brown hair, between 25 and 30-years-old.

The description was the same for a woman who says she was almost abducted around 2 a.m. Thursday outside of Planet Fitness in LaGrange.

“I was just in the Planet Fitness parking lot in LaGrange and someone came up to my car with a gun and said ‘open your door,’” the victim told a dispatcher. “He had a blue bandana on his face.”

“I locked my doors because I saw him,” the victim goes on to say.” I didn’t see him for a few minutes, and then he came up and had a gun and said, ‘open your door’ and I just put it in drive and drove off.”

On Monday, LaGrange Police charged Patrick Moore in connection with both cases. His charges include kidnapping, attempted kidnapping, and robbery.

According to investigators, Kentucky State Police had already arrested Moore on Saturday on drugs and weapon charges.

Anyone with additional information concerning this case is asked to contact the LaGrange Police Department at (502) 225-0444 or the LaGrange Police Tip-Line at (502) 873-8945.
