Louisville woman facing several charges after man robbed at Economy Inn
Police have arrested a Louisville woman after they say she took part in a robbery at the Economy Inn last month.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police have arrested a Louisville woman after they say she took part in a robbery at the Economy Inn on Bardstown Road last month.
According to the arrest report, it happened Feb. 15. That's when police say 42-year-old Michelle Lynn worked with an unnamed accomplice to take property from a man's room at the Economy Inn. Police say the victim told them a man entered his room at the motel, hit him with a blunt object and took his property valued at $3,000.
Police later arrested the accomplice, who led them to Lynn.
Police caught up with Lynn in a vehicle on Goldsmith Lane on March 15. While they were questioning her, they noticed she had a black box in her lap with a baggie containing meth sticking out of it. During a search, officers say they found several individual baggies of and heroin packaged for sale, along with prescription pills.
Lynn is now facing several charges, including robbery, trafficking in a controlled substance, and possession of a controlled substance, Her bond was set at $10,000 cash.
