Garden shed project helps Iroquois High School students grow

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- He Shed, She Shed. That's the name of a Garden Shed project for Iroquois High School students.

Its Magnet Career Academy split up into teams -- girls versus boys -- to build gardening sheds.

This morning, the Building Industry Association of Greater Louisville honored the students.

The sheds are on display at the Home, Garden and Remodeling Show.

"The kids are just -- it's like candy to them and they're proud," Iroquois carpentry instructor Stephen Anderson said. "I had 28 kids here today and they all had a hand in this they're just proud."

The sheds will be sold and all of the money raised will help support the Construction Technology Program.
