LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Kentucky police officer charged with stealing from his own department has pleaded not guilty.

Terry Putnam is accused of stealing thousands of dollars in cash, drugs and guns from the Simpsonville Police Department's evidence lockers in November.

Putnam, age 54, tells WDRB he's innocent, and says surveillance video will prove it. He faces multiple charges, including burglary, theft and official misconduct.
