A second Kentucky resident has tested positive for the Zika virus.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A second Kentucky resident has tested positive for the Zika virus.
The Cabinet for Health and Family Services reports the western Kentucky man experienced Zika-related symptoms while traveling in the Caribbean.
He has since fully recovered.
The state's first Zika case was reported nearly two weeks ago after a Louisville man returned from Central America. Officials advise anyone planning to leave the country, especially pregnant women and children, to use mosquito repellent.
