LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Voters said yes Tuesday to alcohol sales in Adair County.

Almost 3,400 voters said yes, with about 55 percent of the vote, in a wet-dry election Tuesday night. Almost 2,800 hundred voters said no.

Passage means alcohol sales will now be legal in all of the county, once the county government issues licenses.

That could take several months.

The county is about 100 miles south of Louisville.
