LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Apparently, the typical "smash and grab" style of some crooks has just been bested by a group of thieves in Indianapolis.

The burglars rammed a car into the front window of Hang Time, a clothing store on Georgetown Road.

They first had to roll away the concrete planters outside the store before slamming into it. The car took out the window and the metal gate meant to keep out thieves.

The surveillance video of the burglary shows about a dozen people, wearing hoodies and masks, swarming into the store seconds after the car drove into the clothing store.

Some of those crooks even went over the hood, moving into the store before the driver was able to back out.

All the suspects are still on the run.
