LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A restaurant chain is raising money for National Brain Injury Awareness month.
City Barbeque has been selling special tumblers for $5 for the past three months. All the proceeds go to the Resurrecting Lives Foundation, which is devoted to helping veterans with traumatic brain injuries.
People who bought the tumblers were given free refills throughout March.
City Barbeque officials say they were able to raise more than $12,000. The chain has one Louisville location in Hurstbourne.
