LACETT | Future Cardinals and Wildcats show their stuff in McDonald's All-American Game

LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) – Future Kentucky star Malik Monk scored 11 points, helping the West defeat the East 114-107 in the 39th McDonald's All-American Game from the United Center in Chicago.

Fellow future Wildcat, Five-star recruit Bam Adebayo scored 16 points and grabbed 12 boards in a losing effort for the East. Future Louisville Cardinal VJ King chipped in with 5 points in 12 minutes of action.

Meanwhile, future Cardinal Kylee Shook helped the West beat the East in the girls’ game 97-88 in OT. The 6-4 center out of Colorado Springs had 2 points in 13 minutes of action.

Her future teammate Ciera Johnson, a five star post player scored 12 points and grabbed 9 boards in a losing effort.

Elizabethtown’s  Erin Boley, the Gatorade Player of the Year, had 13 points in 21 minutes.  Boley is headed to Notre Dame.
