Ky. lawmakers say they are currently deadlocked on budget deal; but they have until April 12

FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) -- Kentucky lawmakers say they are deadlocked on a budget deal, adding that the deadlock could lead to a partial government shutdown.

However, they have until April 12, according to Damon Thayer, Kentucky state Senator and Majority Floor Leader.

"Budget talks done for today, yes," Thayer tweeted. "But #kyga16 still has until April 12 to pass a budget."
