Louisville Orchestra director Teddy Abrams performs for UPS employees coming to work

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Some musicians helped workers at UPS start the day on a positive note.

Music Director Teddy Abrams joined other musicians to perform for employees heading to work at Worldport. They played for about an hour this morning. It's part of Abrams vision to reach out to the community in different ways.

UPS made arrangements for the ensemble to perform after Abrams expressed an interest in the orchestra reaching more people.

"There is not a place Abrams won't go," said Cameron Forsythe, a UPS employee. "He calls it random acts of culture. When he was young, he went all over the place -- grocery stores, airports -- and wants to bring the same feeling here to Louisville."
