LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Officers with the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office arrested a man authorities say admitted to ingesting several dozen packages of illegal drugs.

Rocky Hernandez-Cereno, 23, was arrested Wednesday in the 5000 block of Preston Highway, near Alder Avenue and Gilmore Lane.

The official police report says a K9 unit was used to conduct an "open air sniff" of Hernandez-Cereno's jacket, after the dog was alerted to the clothing.

Police say that upon a search, nine packages of suspected heroin were located. Officials also say Hernandez-Cereno gave his consent to a search.

Investigators say about three packages of suspected cocaine were found on Hernandez-Cereno. According to police, he admitted to "body-carrying" about another 45 packages that he had ingested.

Officials say he admitted that he had done this two or three times.
