One man killed, second man injured after shooting in Franklin County, Ind.
When police arrived, they found one man dead and a second man who had been shot.
FRANKLIN COUNTY, In. (WDRB) -- Indiana State Police are investigating after a double shooting that left one man dead and another man injured.
According to an Indiana State Police news release, officers responded to the double shooting in Franklin County, Indiana on Saturday just before 8 p.m.
Police responded to a call about possible shots fired at a home in the 10000 block of St. Peters Road in Brookville. The area is about 80 miles southeast of Indianapolis.
When police arrived, they found David Manz, 55, dead inside the residence and a second man, 60-year-old Thomas Logan, had been shot.
Authorities say the investigation indicates the shooting was the result of an altercation between Manz and Logan. Officials say police are not looking for any further suspects.
Investigators say Logan was taken to a hospital in Indianapolis for treatment.
Both men lived in that home.
