LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The favorite for next month's Kentucky Derby has arrived in the Bluegrass State.

Nyquist arrived at Keeneland on Sunday afternoon to prepare for the first leg of the Triple Crown.

The undefeated 2-year-old just won the $1 million Xpressbet.com Florida Derby to extend his unbeaten streak to seven.

“We were very impressed with the way he did it,” said Jack Sisterson, the horse's assistant trainer. “It was very humid and he handled it well. (Jockey) Mario (Gutierrez) gave him a great ride.”

Nyquist was auctioned off at Keeneland in 2013, when he was purchased by Madison Farm for $180,000.
