LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Community members gathered Sunday to remember a Louisville musician and his brother and lend support to their family.

A benefit concert was held for the Sanders family at New Direction on Chamberlain Lane.

Jacob Sanders was the bass player for the popular band, Velcro Pygmies.

Jacob and his brother Jeremiah disappeared during a fishing trip in March. Their bodies were found later that month.

Sunday's event featured several local bands, live auctions, and drawings.

All the proceeds went to the Sanders family.
