LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville woman is accused of using thousands of dollars from someone else's bank account to pay her bills.

A not guilty plea was entered for Meiko Sheffey in court Wednesday morning. According to an arrest warrant, she's accused of using nearly $38,000 from someone else's bank account to make payments to utility, insurance and other companies.

Police say it happened between January 2015 and October 2015.

Sheffey, who has an extensive criminal history, is charged with theft by deception and misuse of electronic information.
